10. Moon Kick (Boros)

From One Punch Man, is the Moon Kick by the final villain of season 1 Boros. Boros challenged Saitama himself to a fight and although Saitama can’t necessarily be harmed or beaten because he is just “that guy,” Boros was able to kick Saitama all the way from the Earth to the Moon in an absolute display of raw power. All though it was played off by Saitama’s neutral expression, consider that Saitama got launched 382,500km, for reference, Imagine Saitama travelling around the earth 30 times from a single kick.
9. Gon vs Pitou

In HunterxHunter’s Chimera Ant arc, Gon after sacrificing himself to instantaneously have all the power that he would ever have in his life, Gon damn-near soccer kicked the soul out of Pitou sending her flying upward, winded and helpless in the air for his final attack. What made this kick so epic was considering how unbeatable Pitou was the entire arc and finally seeing for ourselves just how much power Gon actually gained in that brief moment. The expression on Pitou’s face from the impact of the kick was satisfying punishment for the things she did previously in the arc.
8. Annie Kicks Eren’s Head CLEAN OFF

When Annie entered her Female Titan form in an attempt to capture Eren in season 1 of Attack on Titan, Eren himself transformed and attempted to square up with the titan in self-defence, not yet knowing it was Annie at the time. Having only fought against each other in their military training in which Annie easily put Eren on his ass, Eren felt that he was a better fighter now as he had Titan abilities but was soon humbled when Annie kicks Eren’s head off clean, alongside a tree he was standing in front of. The Samurai slice kick was so swift, Eren couldn’t even react but he did know that he did not stand a chance with his current fight experience.
7. Ultra Instinct Kick

In Dragon Ball Super’s Tournament of Power, when Goku appears to have been not only eliminated but disintegrated, A cannon of a light from the sky flashes in the centre of the stadium revealing only a silhouette of a figure, a silhouette of Goku's mysterious return. As the light fades and Goku turns around with his hair in base form but eyes and aura of a unique colour, he faces Jiren who was thought to have eliminated him, standing alongside the rest of his team. Before Goku even finishes taking a complete step forward, the camera flies to Jiren who just barely dodges the fastest kick in the anime yet, then to Goku and his current positioning, then to Dyspo and Toppo standing beside Jiren who in slow motion turn their head to only just notice Goku who was at least 100 meters away flying right by them, right before he changes direction mid-air and the epic music begins to play. Despite this kick being dodged, the display of speed was so effective that it was not only misunderstood by the fighters but misunderstood completely by the viewers as well. This was the first sighting of the form and definitely made an excellent first impression of what else was to come from Ultra Instinct.
6. Sanji Concasser

In One Piece’s Whole Cake Island arc, Sanji leaves the crew to serve his family and demands that no one come for him or try to convince him to come back. Of course, originally recruiting someone as special as Sanji, Luffy doesn’t take no for an answer and sees through the coercion that Sanji was put under to become this way. Unable to convince Luffy, Sanji prepares to fight as they go on in one of the most emotional fights of the series. The entire time, Luffy refusing to hit back despite facing several of Sanji’s deadly moves, Sanji decides to put an end to it and takes off into the sky using the Moonwalk technique until he reaches a fiery apex and begins racing downward in a ring of fire to crack down his Concasser right at the top of Luffy’s skull, completely knocking him out. This kick in itself was powerful but the emotions within the scene including the flashbacks of their time together on the crew as he was coming down from the air, signified the pain that Sanji was hiding from Luffy when making the decision to leave his crew.

5. Naruto Dab Kicks Truthseeker Orb

In Naruto Shippuden’s 4th great ninja war, Madara gained the power of the six paths and was dominating the battlefield consisting of Naruto, Sasuke and others who were being toyed with due to the power gap between them and Madara. This lead to Might Guy himself putting everything on the line to fight Madara in the Eight Gates form and was able to severely wound Madara before becoming incapacitated himself and approaching death. Madara took this as an opportunity to finish him off and sent a Truthseeker orb flying his way when from nowhere, Naruto jumps in the way and dab kicks the orb right back at Madara, saving Might Guy. Truth Seeking Orbs are known to disintegrate anything they touch and the fact that Naruto was able to return it to sender without harm and to be able to do it fast enough to save Guy was a very memorable scene from the anime. The significance in this kick was how cool Naruto looked while doing it, and the brief bout of memes that came along with this moment.
4. Jojo Stomp Out

In search of a stand user while at a restaurant in one of the episodes, a man bumps into Narancia’s chair causing some of his wine to spill onto the man’s jacket. The man decides to make a scene by picking Narancia up and threatening him but Narancia refuses to accept any of that disrespect and uppercuts the man sending him to the ground. Narancia claims that the man must be an enemy stand user, which Mista overhears, and the two begin to stomp the man on the ground relentlessly. Abbacchio, watching the situation in silence after taking a sip of wine, decides to join in on the stomp fest as well. They only stopped once they reconsidered that the man that they are stomping out is not a stand user and is in fact a random citizen. Although this moment was not a single kick, the series of kicks in this episode was one of the show's most hilarious moments and definitely had an impact on the civilian which probably taught him a lesson for the rest of his life.

3. Jin Mori Triple Kick

The Webtoon original, The God of Highschool, follows a boy named Jin Mori who specializes in Taekwondo and is invited to a tournament to determine the best high school fighter in the country. Being the main character and specializing in Taekwondo brought the anime several amazing kicks but the most notable of them all is Jin Mori’s original technique, the Triple Kick. This kick is a succession of three quick kicks to the head that are usually enough to take out any of his opponents once set up. This technique is better explained and visualized in the webtoon as each kick is unique and each following kick becomes more difficult to avoid. The kicks not only attack the vital point in the head three times but, “ your head rebounds from the first kick, only for you to meet the opposite kick,” and attempting to step back will only help you get sandwiched between the other two kicks, causing more damage than one would from a regular kick to the head according to chapter one, episode 30 “The Match With Gods”. This kick becomes more special and technical when combined with the information presented in the Webtoon, a lightning-fast signature finishing move that causes a concussion to knock out their opponent in style.
2. Grimmjow vs Ichigo

In Bleach’s Arrancar arc, the main character Ichigo made a new enemy in Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, who saw Ichigo as a formidable opponent which he needed to crush. Grimmjow uses Ichigo’s drive and innate potential as a soul reaper to get the best out of him to have a fulfilling battle and doesn’t give him a break. With only one arm and his two legs, Grimmjow knocks down Ichigo, stands in front of him and watches as he doesn’t even have enough energy for a Hollow transformation. Grimmjow laughs, flies towards Ichigo and gut kicks Ichigo through at least five buildings in the city! Aside from looking amazing and flexing the difference in strength, this kick was a very needed and humbling moment for Ichigo who didn’t even complete his full Hollow training but believed he was strong enough to handle foes like Grimmjow. Not often do you get to see someone get launched through several buildings or through an environment in an anime other than Dragon Ball Z.

1. Rock Lee shows up to fight Kimmimaro

In Naruto’s Sasuke retrieval arc, the Sasuke recovery team consisting of Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba & Akamaru, Choji and Neji, risked their lives as only Genin (aside from Shikamaru) to take back Sasuke from the hands of the Sound Ninja who were believed to be at least high Chunin level (a rank above them). The team was divided to fight the individual five members of the sound ninja, one of them being Naruto who was set up to face the strongest of the five, Kimimaro who has a unique Kekkai Genkai that allows him to manipulate bones from his body and use them as weapons. Despite using several shadow clones and the power of the Nine-Tails, Naruto was no match for Kimimaro and just before he gave the finishing blow to Naruto, a figure twirling in the air to the sound of the wind, from nowhere, kicked Kimimaro away, saving Naruto and revealing the Leaf’s Handsome Devil, Rock Lee, who came to save the day. This kick is the most special on this list because there was no indication that Rock Lee would be able to take part in the mission after having his leg and arm shattered by Gaara in the Chunin Exams. He was originally diagnosed to never be able to fight again, and only had a 50% chance of being healed by Tsunade. Anyone would have guessed that the loved character would be healed but many wouldn’t imagine that he would be healed enough to chase down after the squad, make it in time to save Naruto, and be able to fight a high jounin level ninja despite being a genin who has been undergoing surgery. After the operation, Rock lee was advised by Tsunade to rest and not overdo anything for a while, as well as training his jutsu for the next day, but as gutsy and determined as Rock Lee was, the moment he was able to move, he made a B-line to support his friends and put his life on the line just like them.
(Chapter 210)
Honourable Mention: Rock Lee Kicks Gaara and gets past his defences
The first attack to break Gaara’s defences in the anime and actually hit him
